Palace to Host Retro-Rewind Festival Events
For the first time in the event's history the High Desert Sky Palace will host a portion of the Retro-Rewind Festival Events. In addition to the Desert Demons game, the venue will host one of the concert stages as well as an assortment of regional vendors.

"I think that this gives us (at the Sky Palace) a great opportunity to show off our world class facility." said Bill Kaiser, the venue's opperations manager, over his two-way radio.

The shift in venue is not without protest, however, as members of the Alyssa Heights Street Vendors Alliance have already voiced their disapproval of the decision. "We rely on the walk-up we get when these events are held on our city streets." stated S.P. Crook, the Alliance spokesperson. "It makes it very difficult to sell our assortment of knock-off merchandise and moldy peaches on sticks when we do not get a high volume of traffic." Event organizers are currently trying to find some sort of compromise to keep both sides happy.

In addition to hosting the Idaho Desert Demons of the SSL, the High Desert Sky Palace hosts a number of cultural and entertainment events throughout the year.
